About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at ANZ VMLY&R. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the business needs of our clients are fully understood and met by the proposed solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and document requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria that can be used and interpreted by both business and technical users.
  • Facilitate workshops and assess source documentation from the customer.
  • Identify and recommend options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Work with delivery and technical teams to create client proposals and detailed scoping documents.
  • Analyse and understand complex business systems in order to recommend efficiencies and enhancements.
  • Provide estimates for future analysis work.
  • Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure all solutions deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training to users of a new system as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the test team.
  • Plan and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
  • Keep up to date with technical and industry sector advances.
Customer Service Responsibilities
  • Maintain great client relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Maintain consistently high levels of client satisfaction and effectively escalate business critical situations as required.
  • Manage situations and relationships both internally and externally.
Requirements
  • Extensive analysis experience.
  • Business Process mapping and engineering.
  • Production of user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Analysis and design of systems (package integration and bespoke development).
  • Ability to work on your own initiative to an agreed action plan.
  • Strong communication skills - as this role requires a high level of communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving, time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with Commerce platforms - nice to have.
  • Database experience - nice to have.
