Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Governance professional to lead our team in transforming the way we manage our information assets.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in contemporary information management practices and be able to provide high-level advice to business stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation and make a real difference in the way we operate.
About the Role:
- Lead the development, review and maintenance of strategies, policies and procedures for effective information management.
- Provide expert advice on information management functionality requirements.
- Promote awareness of good information management practices and manage the delivery of records management training.
- Manage and lead a team of six members, fostering professionalism, best practice, innovation and collaboration.
- Coordinate responses to Freedom of Information requests and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Represent the organisation on relevant committees and contribute to whole-of-government policy development.
- Lead, manage and supervise projects using corporate project management processes.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in information governance and management.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects and managing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide high-level advice and guidance to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
