  • Job Description:

We are seeking a clinician to join our national team of Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.

">

You will provide clinical services to individuals aged 0-65, working across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

">

Your day-to-day duties will involve collaborating with allied health practitioners, support workers and family members to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.

">

You will assess and observe participants' challenging behaviours and work towards increasing skills, improving emotion regulation and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce the use of restrictive practices.

">

Our Positive Behaviour Support plans and assessments focus on increasing a person's quality of life, including improving their skills and enhancing their independence.

You will develop a plan and implement it with training and regular follow-up and review.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
">

We require qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health, or Nursing.

NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner is also required, or the ability to become registered.
