Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our human resources and payroll operations. This key role will oversee the management of all HR administration, payroll processing, compliance, and employee relations while collaborating with senior leaders to cultivate a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all aspects of HR and payroll administration, ensuring accurate record-keeping within our HR information system.
  • Process payroll updates accurately and on time, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and changes to pay.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding payroll, wages, and hours, as well as best practices in human resources.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in departmental efficiency, including payroll processing systems, software, and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the interview process and train staff on new duties.
  • Respond to employee inquiries, resolve problems, manage complaints, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Process payroll for all staff accurately and in accordance with established schedules.
  • Support senior leaders in achieving and maintaining compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and facilitate consultation processes between management and employees.
  • Provide comprehensive administration for all employment matters.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Management and/or Payroll roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting background.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and its practical application.
  • Payroll qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
