Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to ensure we provide the best fresh fruits and vegetables to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fresh produce and a passion for sourcing high-quality goods.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables from reliable suppliers while ensuring cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent product availability and favorable pricing.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and purchasing trends to ensure adequate supply while minimizing waste.
- Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, seasonal availability, and competitor pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: Work within budget constraints to maximize profitability while maintaining product quality.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased products meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
- Sales and Promotions Support: Collaborate with the sales team to align purchasing strategies with customer demand and promotional activities.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- A Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in a buying or procurement role, preferably in the fresh produce or grocery industry.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of market trends, seasonal produce, and wholesale pricing.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
