Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the agency's busy Dubbo office. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to inform service delivery planning and resource allocation. Your expertise will also be essential in identifying issues with data quality and consistency, ensuring that the data is usable for analysis and reporting.

You will work closely with the business unit leader, Director, and Executive Director to provide evidence-based advice and reports, driving business decisions and informing future strategies.

  • Undertake data mining, profiling, and analysis to identify trends and insights that inform service delivery practice and outcomes;
  • Establish and maintain core internal and external data sets to meet the analysis and reporting needs of the organisation;
  • Implement proactive initiatives to improve data quality and usability;
  • Prepare project-related documents, including status updates, reports, and discussion papers;
  • Provide specialist advice and recommendations to support performance monitoring and reporting governance processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
