Job Title: Spatial Data Analyst

Job Summary:

  • EBR is seeking a skilled Spatial Data Analyst to contribute to improving transport quality.
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the Transport Spatial System Manager.
  • The role involves managing, coordinating, and analysing GIS databases to enhance transport outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-quality documentation of analysis, methodology, and findings to ensure clear and insightful reporting.
  • Create, analyse, and present spatial data to support transport initiatives.
  • Automate project workflows and data integrations to improve efficiency.
  • Provide GIS SME, GIS development, and GIS data modelling input to stakeholders and projects.
  • Develop innovative spatial solutions to address transport challenges.

Technical Requirements:

  • ArcGIS or other GIS software, ETL tools (e.g., FME), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SAP Business Objects).
  • APIs, SQL, and Java Script.
  • ArcGIS suite of products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server.
  • Python programming skills.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and judgement while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience in data sourcing, capturing, and maintenance.
