We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Conference and Events Coordinator. This role involves coordinating conferences and events from confirmation through to post-event follow-up, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Job Summary

This position requires managing event documentation, liaising with internal stakeholders and clients, supporting event operations, and assisting with walk-in enquiries. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication and customer service skills in the hospitality or events industry.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Conference & Events role within a luxury hotel or 5-star hospitality environment, along with a proven track record of successfully planning and coordinating events from enquiry to execution.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • End-to-end event planning and coordination
  • Preparing event orders and communication plans
  • Liaising across departments and with clients
  • Supporting promotional activities and lead qualification
  • Maintaining client databases and producing correspondence
  • Conducting site inspections, briefings, and follow-ups
  • Selling hotel services and identifying new business opportunities

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver seamless and memorable events. This role is ideal for someone who possesses a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar Conference & Events role within a luxury hotel or 5-star hospitality environment
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and coordinating events from enquiry to execution
  • Strong working knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, or similar events management software)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and client-focused manner
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence in selling and upselling hotel services
