Optimising mining operations requires exceptional leadership and a proven track record of driving performance. As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of crushing targets and meeting client contract terms.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our Yilgarn Iron Ore Project, located in Western Australia. Our project spans various sites, with ore being transported to Esperance Port for export. We are committed to working in harmony with the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group, who have a deep connection to this land.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain systematic routine maintenance and schedule preventative maintenance programs.
  • Communicate daily objectives with crushing, maintenance, and contracting personnel.
  • Monitor wear parts life and report costs to the Project Manager monthly.
  • Assess, order, and monitor crusher parts and consumables.
  • Authorise Crushing personnel timesheets and assist in training and learning regimes.
  • Performance manage personnel and provide constructive criticism.

About You:

  • Preference given to candidates with Section 26 training.
  • 5 years' experience in previous Crushing Leadership roles.
  • Frontline management certificate.
  • Current clean driver licence.
  • Sound knowledge of safety systems.
