**Scientific Researcher Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled scientific researcher to support our Integrated Marine Observing System.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the operation and deployment of oceanographic and meteorological instruments.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality time series data streams from the moorings array through calibration, data processing, and analysis.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a laboratory and field environment, supporting scientific research with your expertise.
The successful candidate will have a degree in physics, mathematics, physical oceanography, engineering, or equivalent technical expertise.
Experience in programming languages such as MATLAB and/or Python, data analysis, database applications, and working knowledge of electronic instrumentation and PC systems is essential.
Additionally, you will need to demonstrate organisational skills to manage field-work logistics, planning, and scheduling.
As part of this role, you will participate in fieldwork at sea to service, deploy, and recover equipment.
