Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tables and bar areas before opening
  • Greet and seat customers on arrival at the restaurant
  • Explain menu items and make recommendations along with assisting guests with particular dietary needs
  • Serve customers food and drink in a timely manner
  • Operate point-of-sale terminals to input customer orders and take payment
  • Work behind the bar to complete drink orders and make specialty cocktails
  • Clean and reset tables/restaurant as required
  • Stock and maintain wait stations including polishing cutlery
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed

Desirable Skills:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Well-presented, excellent communication skills, and time management skills
  • Ability to work quickly and safely
