Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural and Building Technician to join our team at PROVISE360. As a Senior Architectural and Building Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the business, collaborating closely with clients, architects, interior designers, and construction professionals to bring building designs to life with efficiency and simplicity, with the manufacturing process in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Creating technical drawings from sketches and specifications, utilizing CAD software to incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction/joinery details.
  • Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by project managers, construction managers, and engineers.
  • Entering CAD data into internal systems to create 3-D models and renderings.
  • Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
  • Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions and costs as needed.
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers, showroom designers, and factory engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
  • Estimating cost of labor and materials and preparing budgets.
  • Ensuring all projects are completed within timeframes and budgets.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.
  • Assisting Project and Construction Managers, and Architects in planning and estimating resources.
  • Inspecting work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • 5+ Years experience in Joinery Drafting.
  • 5+ Years experience in the Construction Industry.
