This is an opportunity to be part of a local team that forms part of a larger network of locally based teams.
As a volunteer, you will engage in various activities related to preparedness, response, and recovery. These activities include developing skills to provide psychosocial support, training programs, and community development services.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
- Engage in preparedness, response, and recovery activities.
- Develop skills to provide psychosocial support, training programs, and community development services.
- Participate in opportunities as they arise, including community events, meetings, admin support, training, and facilitation.
- Upfront commitment to minimum training requirements: 9 hours online learning and practical training in Psychological First Aid.
- Mandatory e-learning modules (x10) – duration approximately 9 hours.
- Basic computer literacy is essential.
- National Police Check (required).
- State/Territory dependent: Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check. Assistance can be provided with the application.
