About the Role
  • Engage in preparedness, response and recovery activities with a local team to provide essential services to those in need.

Maintain your training and skills so you can respond effectively when emergencies occur. This is a dynamic volunteering opportunity where you have the flexibility to decide when and how you want to contribute.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in opportunities such as community events, meetings, admin support, training and facilitation.
  2. Develop skills to provide psychosocial support, training programs and community development services.

Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, focusing on wellbeing and respect.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Complete 9 hours online learning and practical training in Psychological First Aid.
  • Finish mandatory e-learning modules (x10) – duration approximately 9 hours.
  • Have basic computer literacy.
  • Obtain a National Police Check.
  • State/Territory dependent: Obtain a Working With Children Check or Working With Vulnerable People Check. We will assist with the application process.
