Job Title: Specialist Midwife - Birth Centre

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate specialist midwife to join our dynamic team at the Birth Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a pioneering model of care for maternity services, providing excellence in continuity of care from pregnancy through to birth by the same midwife for each woman.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based and high-quality patient care as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Deliver maternity services in a local community setting with dedicated and upgraded facilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Midwife with 'Endorsement' to prescribe schedule 2, 3, 5, and 8 medications required for midwifery practice across pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal care.
