Job Opportunity: Registered Midwife

This is a casual position in maternity services. The successful candidate will work across all maternity services including Antenatal Outpatients, Antenatal Ward, Birth Unit, Postnatal Ward and Midwifery in the home.

Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and ability to identify key messages
  • Ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional boundaries
  • Strong computer skills including Internet and email, and familiarity with health information systems
