About the RoleThis senior-level position will drive and implement change management and cultural enrichment strategies aligned with organisational goals. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the leadership team across a designated portfolio, supporting the organisation's success and promoting a cohesive and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong partnerships with leadership to drive strategic support and serve as the primary point of contact for all state-based human resources activities.
- Collaborate with leadership in the development and execution of the engagement strategy.
- Offer expert guidance and support on employee relations matters to foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor employment legislation changes, updating policies and procedures accordingly.
- Support the implementation of governance structures, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Assist leadership in implementing recruitment and selection processes.
- Facilitate seamless onboarding and induction experiences for new employees to enhance retention and engagement.
- Support the performance management process, facilitating training and development activities.
- Assist with the execution of competitive remuneration strategies.
- Manage reward and recognition programs.
- Coordinate Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (OHSW) activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience working in an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a high-performance culture and dynamic environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
- Strong understanding of organisational development, employee engagement, talent management, and culture transformation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyse complex situations and provide strategic HR solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant software applications.
