Job Title:

Senior Estimator – Civil, Mining and Earthworks Projects

About the Role:

This senior estimator role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the delivery of complex projects across various industry sectors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparing tender submissions and coordinating internal and external resources
  • Evaluating the estimating process for cost-effectiveness and implementing improvements
  • Negotiating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to secure project success
  • Developing budgets based on tender submissions and assessing contract variation orders
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years' management experience on civil construction projects with values between $5m and $20m+
  • Proven understanding of construction principles and a hands-on approach
  • Effective problem-solving skills and high commercial acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
