As a key player in environmental conservation, we are seeking an exceptional Environment Restoration Team Lead to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity that requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising field-based staff, providing technical advice, and managing external resources to achieve efficient outcomes.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management, Landscape Ecology, Biology or other relevant qualification and experience.

The successful candidate will be able to identify, scope and supervise maintenance activities across multiple work sites, applying WHS frameworks and systems in an operational environment.

Agricultural Chemical Distribution Certificate (ACDC) and Firefighting supervisor (Vegetation) qualifications are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain natural assets by restoring habitats, improving water quality, and reducing the impact of pest plants and feral animals.
  • Support local environmental volunteer groups, work programs, community events, and activities.
  • Oversee bushfire management, coastal, wetland, and wildlife management.
About You:

You will be responsible for leading a team, managing projects, and making strategic decisions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this role.
