Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team and contribute to the advancement of Fiber Optic Gyroscope technology.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop leading-edge Fiber Optic Gyros with exceptional performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Implement manufacturing processes for Fiber Optics, focusing on scalability to large production volumes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and integration
  • Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance Fiber Optic Gyro performance and reliability
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Fiber Optics, photonics, and relevant manufacturing techniques
  • Contribute to customer-centric approaches by ensuring our Fiber Optic technology meets and exceeds customer expectations in demanding applications
  • Develop efficient testing processes for fibre optic coils
  • Establish capability for additional processes such as coil stress conditioning
  • Support Production Engineering to develop performance metrics and SPC measures
  • Guide design and development of fibre optic coil-related process tooling
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in Fiber Optic Gyros
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of FOG physics, including the Sagnac effect and associated phenomena
  • In-depth knowledge of photonics, including light sources, optical fibers, couplers, modulators, and detectors relevant to FOGs
  • Solid background in electro-optical systems design and integration
  • Demonstrable experience with manufacturing processes for optical or precision electro-mechanical systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset
