State Operations Manager Role

The State Operations Manager will oversee the operational activities of our organization, ensuring seamless execution and effective leadership.

This is a pivotal role that combines sales and operations, requiring a strong individual to drive profitable and efficient branch management.

The ideal candidate will provide strategic guidance to branch employees, drive branch performance, and achieve financial targets by:

  • Identifying new business opportunities through proactive market analysis
  • Monitoring labor costs and implementing cost-saving measures for South Australia
  • Managing HR issues and conducting performance reviews for Operations and Counter Sales personnel
  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience through consistent service standards
  • Overseeing counter sales, logistics, and warehousing activities to ensure timely product delivery
  • Leading team performance through effective people management strategies
  • Providing regular feedback, support, guidance, and coaching to team members

The successful candidate will possess professional qualifications in stock control and/or logistics, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate high emotional intelligence and people leadership accountability.

They will also have strong business acumen, with a proven track record in a similar role, and excellent customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively.

A strong operational background with good understanding of logistics and warehousing processes is essential for this position.
