About the RoleAs a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering direct personal care and domestic assistance, alongside social support and transport as required for clients. You will be responsible for providing personal care, including assisting clients with showering, grooming, personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs. You will also travel between clients' homes, assist with domestic tasks, and observe clients' physical, emotional, and behavioural status, and report any observations or concerns.
About YouWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who is passionate about improving the lives of our clients. To be considered for this role, you will need a Certificate III/IV or equivalent in Individual Support (Aged or Disability), a current Victorian Driver's Licence, a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive car insurance, and current First Aid and CPR certificates. Previous experience in a home care setting or in providing domestic support is desirable.
The EssentialsTo be considered for this opportunity, you MUST have or be willing to get a Working With Children Check (Employee), a satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check OR NDIS Worker Screening Check, annual vaccination(s) as per the Uniting AgeWell vaccination policy, and Australian work rights.
