Job Description

As a signal technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rail networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing rail signalling systems to support operations across metropolitan and regional networks.

You will work as part of a skilled team committed to dependable project delivery in both maintenance and renewals. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and a solid knowledge of railway signalling systems, equipment, and fault diagnosis.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current C Class Driver's Licence is required.
  • A valid WA 'A' Grade Electrical Worker's Licence is essential.
  • Construction Induction (White Card) is mandatory.
  • Current Safeworking Accreditation (PTA and/or ARC Track Access Permit) is required.
  • Ability to pass a CAT 1 Rail Medical and ongoing drug and alcohol screening is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of railway signalling systems, equipment, and fault diagnosis is essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team is required.
