Job Title: Rail Signalling Systems Specialist
About the Position- We are looking for a skilled Rail Signalling Systems Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting railway signalling systems, as well as providing technical support to other engineers.
Responsibilities- Maintain and troubleshoot railway signalling systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
- Provide technical support to other engineers on complex signalling system issues.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement solutions to signalling system problems.
- Monitor signalling system component lifecycles and supply chain data to identify potential obsolescence issues.
- Develop and maintain obsolescence tracking tools and generate regular reports.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to anticipate lifecycle changes.
- Assist the team leader with internal and external reporting requirements.
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience in Railway Signalling System.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Software System, or relevant engineering discipline.
- Product expertise in critical signalling wayside, onboard, and train control systems/equipment.
- Familiarity with BOM management tools and obsolescence databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication with effective stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent time management and professionalism.
