Finding Success as a Signal Technician

A transport network is seeking to expand its sustainable infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a field that combines technology and transportation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out testing and commissioning works on outages and maintenance
  • Identifying faults and finding solutions
  • Operating level crossing equipment
  • Installing and maintaining points and switches
  • Uploading and downloading signal data and software
  • Other electrical and signalling tasks as required

To succeed, you will need:

  • Experience as a Signal Technician with maintenance and installation experience
  • A Restricted Electrical licence
  • A Driver's licence
  • Competence and a proven track record in fault-finding for civil signalling companies
  • A Railway Signalling Certificate 4

This position provides:
