Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage a caseload of women participating in our Court Link Program. The successful candidate will assess the risk and needs of these women, develop case management plans, and facilitate referrals to appropriate support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and evaluate the risk and needs of women participating in the program and create personalized case management strategies, including interventions to enhance engagement with support services.
  • Maintain a record of referrals for women requiring assistance from specialized support services, such as housing-focused intensive support.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders, government agencies, and community-based organizations to initiate referral pathways and access to a range of services.
  • Provide expert advice, including progress reports, to assist with bail and sentencing decisions.
  • Offer court advisory services, informing the court of participant involvement, progress, and outcomes on the program.
  • Liaise with judiciary, legal professionals, and court staff regarding the management of women within the program.
  • Make informed decisions about brokerage funding expenditure and resource utilization in line with case plans.
  • Carry out peer reviews of assessments and other case planning activities to ensure quality assurance.
  • Document accurate records in a computerized database to support program delivery.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with vulnerable populations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders. A degree in social work or a related field is highly desirable.
