About the Role

The Commercial Sales Executive role at Amadeus Hospitality offers a unique opportunity to combine sales and account management skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

- Acquisition

  • Drive sales activities to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships in accordance with commercial principles.

- Retention

  • Develop and maintain a structured sales plan to drive new product and revenue opportunities with existing customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through effective account management.

- Development

  • Drive business development activities to achieve growth and increase revenues through the introduction of new solutions and services.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and market analysis to inform sales strategies.
  • Build and leverage a network of customers and industry contacts to drive business growth.

- Sales Support Activity

  • Contribute to improved sales support processes and systems to ensure effective execution of sales targets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver sales activities and achieve commercial objectives.
  • Ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the Commercial teams.
  • Proactively use CRM to drive sales pipeline and create commercial understanding of the Retail segment.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data in CRM and sales activity reporting.
  • Pipeline management to ensure accuracy within the sales pipeline.

- Account Management

  • Develop and maintain a structured sales plan with customers to drive new product and revenue opportunities.
  • Achieve expected revenue, profitability, and satisfaction levels with customers.
  • Maintain a high level of functional knowledge of the GDS and Amadeus product portfolio.
  • Acquire meaningful market intelligence from customer visits.

Requirements

  • Experience working within the Travel Industry.
  • Understanding of Account Management and Business Development.
  • Customer service skills and ability to understand commercial impact of technical issues.
  • Ability to compile and adhere to a structured sales plan.
  • Knowledge of online booking tools – corporate or business-to-business.
  • Confidence in communication and self-management.
  • Travel Agency Background preferred.
  • Experience with Global distribution Systems preferable.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work under little supervision.
