SME Underwriter Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SME Underwriter to join our team in Sydney, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional sales and underwriting services to our brokers.

As part of our dynamic General Insurance team, you will be responsible for underwriting new and existing business across various lines of general insurance, developing strong relationships with brokers, and providing valuable market feedback and competitor analysis to enhance our market offerings.

  • Demonstrated experience in underwriting packages business
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing general insurance
  • ANZIIF Associate Insurance qualifications or equivalent
  • Knowledge of broker networks (Steadfast, AIMS) and systems (Winbeat, EGlobal)
