Job Title

A Business Intelligence Expert is sought after by our organization to drive revenue performance and streamline accounting processes.

This role is responsible for managing revenue data, ensuring compliance with financial standards, and collaborating with finance and sales teams to optimize revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review contract documentation to ensure adherence to revenue recognition standards.
  • Negotiate contracts in accordance with payment/billing standards and group policies.
  • Accurately record annual, multiyear, and ad-hoc contracts in enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Oversee the month-end revenue close process, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Monitor deferred revenue balances to ensure revenue compliance.
  • Support audit processes, including preparation work and provision of supporting materials.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports to monitor performance and identify trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, commerce, or economics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial analytical roles.
  • Previous experience with enterprise resource planning systems, financial audits, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
