**Job Description**

This is a permanent full-time role requiring an individual to provide a regulatory & enforcement service focusing on compliance issues relative to relevant Acts, other statutory requirements, and council policies.

The successful candidate will investigate customer service requests, enquiries, and complaints in a timely manner meeting provisions of applicable Acts, regulations, and other statutory requirements.

Responsibilities include enforcing the Companion Animals Act and Regulations, conducting routine parking patrols, issuing infringement notices, and handling animal-related tasks.

Additionally, the officer will investigate asset defects, reports of unauthorized development, property complaints, pollution, and illegal dumping incidents.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Certificate IV Government Investigations or another related discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Class C Motor Vehicle Licence
  • Traffic Controller & Implement Traffic Control Plans licence
  • White Card
  • First Aid and CPR accreditation

This role involves working hours spread over seven days, Monday to Sunday, on a rotational roster.
