About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Manager to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our commercial revenue team, you will be responsible for delivering business insights and driving revenue growth through data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a team of senior commercial analysts in the use of data to provide actionable insights to sales, pricing, and operations teams.
  • Own the revenue reporting and analysis process, including weekly performance snapshots, monthly revenue results, and revenue planning for our Australian operations.
  • Manage the annual external audit of revenue, including liaising with auditors, group finance, and integrated shared services accounting teams.
  • Manage the sales incentive program (SIP) process.
  • Work with operations to input into on-peak planning and S&OP initiatives.
  • Work with the continuous improvement team to deliver a suite of business dashboards, focusing on revenue reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple teams to achieve reporting deadlines.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial accounting, with current or prior roles including Commercial Manager, FP&A Manager, Pricing Manager, and/or Finance Manager.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • Exceptional leading, coaching, and mentoring experience.
  • Proven track record in commercial reporting, analysis, and modeling.
  • Exceptional commercial acumen.
  • Ability to interpret large data sets, utilizing tools such as Power BI and/or SQL.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings in a simple and understandable language/format.
  • Logistics, transportation, supply chain, and/or manufacturing industry experience (preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
