Job Description:

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with clients and their families to develop personalised plans that align with their goals and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans.

You will conduct thorough assessments in various environments, including home-based settings, to identify areas for support and development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing evidence-based positive behaviour support plans tailored to each client's unique needs
  • Conducting functional assessments to inform treatment decisions
  • Providing therapeutic interventions to address emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills enhancement
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and priorities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary education in a relevant human services discipline
  • Core registration with the NDIS Commission
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in positive behaviour support
  • Australian driver's licence, Working With Children Check, satisfactory police check, up-to-date Covid-19 vaccination
