Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Professional to join our team as a Positive Behaviour Support Specialist. This role involves working with individuals who require support and guidance in developing positive behaviour.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work collaboratively with clients, their families and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualised plans that promote positive behaviour.
  • To provide direct support and guidance to clients, helping them to develop new skills and strategies for managing challenging behaviours.
  • To work with clients to identify and address underlying causes of problematic behaviour, and to develop and implement strategies for preventing future incidents.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as psychology, social work or allied health).
  • Experience working with individuals who have complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
