About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Parramatta. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our elderly customers to live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged with their community.
  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of calm and reassurance.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their social connections.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to support our customers.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with the ability to understand and respond to the needs of our elderly customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our customers and their families.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of our customers.
