Our organization is seeking a diligent and proactive Procurement and Sourcing Specialist to ensure efficient stock management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage administrative tasks, contribute to inventory and logistics strategies, and develop strong relationships with key suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers to source high-quality products, meeting supply objectives and ensuring timely availability of stock.
- Manage inventory documentation, perform comprehensive checks, and update the ERP system for accurate tracking.
- Identify and address gaps in inventory processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support forecasting processes and manage purchasing tasks, including scheduled stock ordering and custom product orders.
- Coordinate shipping, manage documentation, and communicate with branch staff, product managers, sales teams, and external partners.
- Evaluate supplier performance, assess risks, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Negotiate and draft supply agreements, including terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, finance, product development, and quality departments to provide valuable feedback and insights from vendor interactions.
- Prepare and present purchasing reports to management, including market data, recommendations, and impact on procurement.
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or supply chain management or relevant industry experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, merchandising, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and advanced numerical reasoning and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively across various teams.
- Able to work autonomously, with strong attention to detail, managing priorities and time effectively.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and possess strong analytical skills.
