- The role requires a confident communicator who can connect the dots between nature and business. As our new Manager, Partnerships, you will be responsible for crafting compelling pitches, securing high-value partnerships, and helping organisations achieve their sustainability ambitions.

This role is perfect for someone who can walk into a room full of executives, think on their feet, and make real-world connections—like linking rainforest conservation to a bank's ESG goals. You will lead the development and delivery of our partnership strategy, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive revenue growth while staying true to the integrity of our work.

The position offers flexibility with a hybrid working arrangement that includes regular collaboration at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney office. Regardless of location, you will work closely with key stakeholders from this office at least once a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with executive stakeholders and adapt quickly in dynamic settings
  • Develop and deliver a partnership strategy that aligns business goals with conservation impact
  • Build and maintain high-value partnerships through strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Drive revenue growth by leveraging business development experience and partnerships expertise
  • Connect real-world business operations to climate resilience and reporting obligations
  • Collaborate with a small team and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Lead stakeholder engagement with a people-first approach

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in business development, partnership or similar domain
  • Ability to work after hours, including weekends, as required
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
