Leadership Role in Aged Care

This leadership role presents an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the provision of high-quality care to residents.

About the Job

The Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring that care is delivered with compassion, respect, and dignity. This involves collaborating with the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to oversee the coordination of care needs across the home.

  • Provide holistic support to residents, focusing on their social and emotional well-being.
  • Support the coordination of care needs, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration.
  • Lead and supervise care delivery within designated wings or areas.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication)
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) OR Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness
  • An effective listener with ability to communicate at all levels
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
