We are seeking an experienced leader to work full time as a second-in-command, drawing on your clinical background to improve every aspect of our residents' wellbeing.

You'll be responsible for:

  • The assessment, planning, and evaluation of resident care, while nurturing partnerships with family members to ensure provision of safe, quality care
  • Promoting a positive learning environment to grow the capability and knowledge of our next generation of carers and nurses
  • Overseeing clinical governance via a process of quality improvement, auditing, and reporting
  • Maintaining clinical resources availability and provision
  • Developing clinical care programs that meet the highest standards
  • Supporting operational management of the home

You'll be an honest and ethical leader, with a hunger to learn and challenge yourself. To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a clinical leadership position within a large aged care home
  • A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
  • Qualifications as a registered nurse and current registration with AHPRA
  • Experience in managing staff and resources
  • Prior experience in clinical management in aged care

About the Role

This role is based at our Kangaroo Flat home, located in the heart of Bendigo in regional Victoria. As part of our team, you'll have access to modern facilities, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
