Residential Care Leadership Position

This leadership position in residential care presents an opportunity to shape lives and support young people. You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and wellbeing of the individuals in our care.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care that truly makes a difference.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values, relevant qualifications with substantial experience, and proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and awareness of current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
- Relevant qualification with significant experience including four (4) additional mandatory competencies.
- Proven ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers.
- Experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.
- Ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
