Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Radiologist to join our team. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging and interventional services to patients and referrers.


Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging and interventional services to patients and referrers.
  • Work collaboratively with the Northern Imaging Victoria team to contribute to clinical governance and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain broad general radiology skills and expertise in women's imaging, including competency in obstetric and gynecologic imaging.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Primary medical qualification registrable with AHPRA.
  • Registration as a specialist radiologist in Australia with AHPRA or ability to be registered with AHPRA.
  • Ability to gain a Medicare provider number at Northern Health sites.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in Clinical Radiology.
  • Broad knowledge in all aspects of radiology for safe and independent consultant practice.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in women's imaging, including obstetric and gynecologic imaging.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in medical imaging service delivery.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued improvement and teamwork.
