The role is part of our global Merchandising team, which understands consumer needs and market capacity to create the right product mix for the Australia & New Zealand marketplace. From stores to online, this team helps bring seasonal category visions to life.

This position will excel in understanding local and global market consumer trends to build profitable and consumer-right assortments for the ANZ market. Working in partnership with sales, marketing and direct-to-consumer teams, you will oversee and manage market capacity, range architecture blending both art and science.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Global and Regional brand principles to drive key brand strategies in the market.
  • Executing continuous review of the marketplace in conjunction with sales, commercial and direct to consumer functions.
  • Building relevant and consumer-centric assortments for the marketplace via channel and segmentation models.
  • Developing robust pricing architecture to accelerate brand positioning whilst maximising commercial outcomes.
  • Partnering with key wholesale customers on special projects, seasonal requirements and further product developments.
  • Playing a key role in the GTM touchpoints with both sales and direct to consumer.
  • In conjunction with commercial teams driving the assortment planning process including market capacities, net sales & margin requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess at least 2+ years of experience in merchandising capacity in footwear, apparel or accessories lead consumer product industry. A strong understanding of the Fashion, Sport, Surf and Skate marketplaces is essential.

Aptitude for creative thinking, strategic planning, analysis, innovation, and problem-solving is crucial for this role. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word is required, while design skills are a plus but not essential.

Ability to work autonomously yet take direction from multiple stakeholders is vital, along with confidence in presenting to small to large internal teams.

Must be available for domestic and international travel as required.
