Autonomous Robotics Field Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Autonomous Robotics Field Specialist. This role involves deploying and sustaining autonomous robotic solutions on customer sites across Eastern Australia and the Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and execute on-site deployment of autonomous robotic platforms, including commissioning and handover.
- Support safe integration into customer operations, ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and risk controls.
- Deliver technical training for customers and site personnel on system operation and safety.
- Provide ongoing field service support including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting (testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding), and upgrade execution.
- Maintain detailed field reports, service logs, and documentation for internal and client use.
Requirements:
- A trade qualification or engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Mining, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on field experience with mine site systems, mining equipment, robotics, or industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of mobile equipment systems, including electrics, hydraulics, and control software.
- Experience working on remote sites, ability to read and interpret system documentation, and demonstrated ability to work independently in the field with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
Working Conditions:
This role requires regular travel to customer sites, with the majority of time spent deploying and sustaining solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
