Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking a motivated professional who is passionate about working with businesses and not-for-profit organisations to create social change.

This role will provide an opportunity to join a dynamic agency with a roster of clients, providing a range of services including public relations; digital and social media; research and creative.

About the Role:

  • As the primary point of contact, you will work on programs designed to drive social change; build and protect the corporate brand and reputation for key clients.
  • You will engage with clients, senior business leaders, and external stakeholders with professionalism and sound judgement.
  • Stay across industry trends, counsel clients, and adapt programs to respond to the changing landscape.
  • Play a central role in new business development and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide public relations consulting advice to leading companies.
  2. Project manage communication programs for top businesses and brands; work well with partners; interact and mentor others within their team.
  3. Develop and present ideas to peers and clients.
  4. Build strong media and stakeholder relations experience; drive news and social responsibility agendas.
  5. Cultivate a sense of curiosity and a willingness to learn new skills in content development.
  6. Maintain a strong team player attitude.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in corporate communications, working agency or in-house on corporate brand profiling, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and social change programs.
