Administrative Support Role in Surgical Education

This part-time position provides administrative assistance to the Surgical Education and Training (SET) team.

The SET program plays a key role in coordinating and delivering operational requirements for surgical training across Australia and New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records for all surgical specialties
  • Coordinating trainee selection, hospital accreditation, and trainee assessments
  • Providing administrative support to the Cardiothoracic Surgery Executive Officer

Key skills and experience include:

  • Experience in an administrative capacity within education, healthcare, or a professional training environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
