Accounts Clerk - Energy Billing Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Clerk to join our team in energy billing. In this role, you will be responsible for validating, processing, and reconciling large volumes of energy bills.

  • Validate and process high volumes of energy bills across multiple clients and energy and water vendors.
  • Ensure billing compliance with contract terms, usage data, and tariffs.
  • Liaise with energy vendors to resolve discrepancies or disputes.
  • Maintain billing records in reporting platforms like Envizi.
  • Identify and escalate billing anomalies or process inefficiencies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in accounts, billing, or energy sector roles (1–2 years preferred).
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks, track outstanding issues, and ensure timely resolution without oversight.
  • Ability to manage routine, repetitive work with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Desirable: strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
