Accounts ClerkBangalow, NSWPart-time | 3 days per weekThe FirmOur client is a growing legal practice based in Bangalow, committed to providing exceptional service to their clients.
They are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Clerk to join their close-knit team.
This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and compliance of their financial operations, particularly in relation to Trust and Office Accounts.The RoleReporting directly to the Principal Solicitor, the Accounts Clerk will be responsible for :Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and LEAPDaily and weekly reconciliation of Trust, Office, and Credit Card accountsPreparing and issuing invoices, managing debtors, and processing supplier paymentsHandling cash deposits and RapidPay allocationsAssisting with financial reporting, payroll, and BAS preparation (after 6-12 months)Supporting compliance with Trust Account regulations and Law Society obligationsProviding general clerical and reception support as requiredWhat They're Looking ForThey are seeking someone who is :Accurate, organised, and proactive in financial record-keepingSkilled in Xero and familiar with Microsoft Office (LEAP training will be provided)Able to manage deadlines and juggle competing prioritiesProfessional, discreet, and able to uphold confidentiality at all timesA team player who is willing to pitch in with a variety of office tasksEssential RequirementsA current Police Clearance Report (required due to Trust Account handling), or able to obtain one prior to commencementAbility to obtain a Westpac Client ID prior to commencementWhy Join Them?
