Empowering Individuals with Disabilities

We are seeking Support Workers to provide support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and within the community.

You will assist them in achieving their NDIS goals, develop daily skills, and facilitate social connections.

This role involves working closely with our team to provide individualised support, focusing on empowering each person to live independently and pursue their interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care, meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning
  • Facilitate community connection through socialisation and outings
  • Help individuals maintain relationships with family, friends, and services
  • Provide support during daily activities, such as walks, appointments, and hobbies

We value flexibility and require our Support Workers to have availability for various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent experience
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to meet physical requirements, including manual handling tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding privacy standards
  • Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office
