DV Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DV Caseworker to join our team at a women's refuge in Surry Hills. As a DV Caseworker, you will provide case management services directly to women and their children who have been affected by domestic violence.
About the Role:- Provide case management to a caseload of clients with varying complex needs within the refuge.
- Ongoing assessment of clients' issues, needs, and circumstances.
- Provide case management in accordance with the organisation's case management models and standards of practice.
- Assist clients in accessing support services within the community.
- Monitor and review progress of individual case plans.
- Maintain accurate client records and data in accordance with the organisation's standards and best practices.
- Identify and escalate risk accordingly.
- Experience working with families affected by DV within a community setting.
- Knowledge of the impact that domestic violence and homelessness has on women and children is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in networking and communicating with multiple service providers to ensure clients' needs are met.
- Degree in social work, welfare, community development, or related field.
- Highly developed written and communication skills.
- Ability to provide a flexible, trauma-informed, and client-centred approach.
- Working With Children Check.
- Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
- Full Australian driver's license.
