About the Role:
  • Provide case management to a caseload of clients with varying complex needs within the refuge.
  • Ongoing assessment of clients' issues, needs, and circumstances.
  • Develop and implement case plans in accordance with the organisation's case management models and standards of practice.
  • Assist clients in accessing support services within the community.
  • Monitor and review progress of individual case plans.
  • Maintain accurate client records and data in accordance with the organisation's standards and best practices.
  • Identify and escalate risk accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with families affected by DV within a community setting.
  • Knowledge of the impact that domestic violence and homelessness has on women and children is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in networking and communicating with multiple service providers to ensure clients' needs are met.
  • Degree in social work, welfare, community development, or a related field.
  • Highly developed written and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide a flexible, trauma-informed, and client-centred approach.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
  • Full Australian driver's license.
