About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DV Caseworker to join our team at Be Recruitment. As a DV Caseworker, you will be responsible for providing case management services to women and children affected by domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Provide case management to a caseload of clients with varying complex needs within a women's refuge.
  • Ongoing Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments of clients' issues, needs, and circumstances.
  • Case Management Models: Provide case management in accordance with the organisation's case management models and standards of practice.
  • Support Services: Assist clients in accessing support services within the community.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and review progress of individual case plans.
  • Client Records: Maintain accurate client records and data in accordance with the organisation's standards and best practices.
  • Risk Identification: Identify and escalate risk accordingly.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience working with families affected by DV within a community setting.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the impact that domestic violence and homelessness has on women and children is essential.
  • Networking: Demonstrated experience in networking and communicating with multiple service providers to ensure clients' needs are met.
  • Qualifications: Degree in social work, welfare, community development, or related field.
  • Communication Skills: Highly developed written and communication skills.
  • Approach: Ability to provide a flexible, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach.
  • Certifications: Working With Children Check and willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.
  • Driver's License: Full Australian driver's license.
